How to Find Us

At the centre of North Wales’ coastline and just 5min from the A55 expressway, Manorafon Farm Park sits within the walls of Gwrych Castle – the home of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here 2020!

By Car
Just 1 mile from the A55, heading west take jnc 24, follow A547 through Abergele to find us on the left just before the 40mph signs. If heading east take jnc 23, follow the A547 towards Abergele for approx. 2 miles to find us on the right just after the 30mph signs.

By Bus
Arriva Saphire number 12 and 13 regulary pass our entrance, if travelling towards Llandudno disembarck the bus at ‘Castle Gates’, if heading towards Rhyl use the ‘Eldon Drive’ stop.

By Train
We are 1.3 miles from Abergele train station, from where trains travel between Manchester Piccadilly and Holyhead, with connections in Chester and Warrington.

By Bike
Just a 5 minute detour from the North Wales coastal cycle path, Manorafon Farm is set in a superb location for cyclists.

Staying Safe

Please be aware that any contact with any animal can present significant health risks, especially for children under 5 as they are more vulnerable to infections. For your protection you should follow the points below…

1. Handwashing

ALWAYS wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after contact with the animals and especially before eating.

2. Gels & Wipes

Please note, gels and wipes are not as effective in removing bacteria that causes harmful infections.

3. Play Areas

A play area should be a safe space – please make sure that hands are washed before entering.

4. Eating

Please ensure that hands are washed and only eat in designated areas only.

5. Pregnant Women

Due to a chemical released by goats and sheep in the weeks pre and post birth, pregnant women should avoid contact goats, sheep and their young.

6. Animals Can Bite

Should you choose to feed our animals, please make sure your children are supervised.

7. Stay Out

Under no circumstances should you be inside of an animal pen/enclosure.

8. Play

At the entrance to each play area you will find our ‘Rules of Play’, please make sure your child/children adhere to these rules.

FAQ'S

Do you have an ATM?

No we don’t, the nearest free ATM is at Tesco in Abergele or, alternatively at the Post Office.

Is there anything I need to know if I am pregnant?

Pregnant women should avoid contact with newborn lambs and goat kids, and like all other visitors, ensure that they wash their hands frequently with warm water and antibacterial soap. If you have any queries, please ask a member of staff.

Can I pay at the gate?

Due to limited capacity and an allocated entry time on each ticket, arriving at the gate is not recommended. To avoid disappointment and inconvenience we recommend that you check availability and book your tickets online, tickets can be booked weeks in advance or up-to an hour before entry.
