About Us

Our Story

In 2009, young couple, Will and Jules started keeping a small herd of pygmy goats on a corner of Will’s family farm, their collection quickly grew to include rare breed pigs, hens and a vegetable plot. Guests staying at Manorafon Campsite loved seeing the animals from a far, so much so, that in 2013, with an exceedingly small budget, Will and Jules decided to open the smallholding to guests. That winter, work began on building pathways, pens and housing that would be accessible to visitors and new and interesting breeds were sourced from across the UK. Just in time for May 2014, Manorafon Farm Park opened and welcomed just over one thousand visitors that entire year. Now, welcoming tens-of-thousands of visitors every year the farm is a top attraction in North Wales. Despite larger visitor figures and lots to see and do at the farm, visitor experience is still centred around a farmer led activities timetable!
